Why laziness can be classified as "disease"??

Drowsiness, fatigue, body aches, these are just some of the many reasons that make people lazy to move or exercise. Due to less physically active, a person becomes more susceptible to disease.

Two health experts from the UK, Dr Richard Weiler and Dr Emmanuel Stamatakis, suggested that lazy to move or exercise (physical inactivity) is categorized as a disease because it has a strong correlation with poor health.

As published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, two experts proposed that lazy move considered to be classified as a disease, given the high number of people sick and die.

"Obesity is already classed as a disease by the World Health Organization," said Dr Richard Weiler, Sports Specialist at Imperial College Healthcare.

Weiler also said the impact of the disease of obesity is lack of activity (lazy to move). "As a result, a lot of money is spent on treating the symptoms caused by lazy physical activity, such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease. However, nobody noticed that all started from laziness to move," said Weiler.

"However, the original cause of all these diseases neglected by modern medicine and the National Health Service (NHS).We need to promote exercise as well as treatment of disease," said Dr. Weiler.

In the last statement, Weiler presented evidence showing that less fit due to lazy to move cause someone to be more susceptible to disease than just obesity.

This evidence also indicates that the socialization of the public health is still minimal. Studies conducted by Dr. Weiler also showed that only one of the 20 respondents who meet the minimum recommended amount of exercise.
